Dorian and Charlotte are characters worth following. This was a really hot and sexy book. Can't wait to read the next one to see if they can find each other together again. And if the heist happens or not. Id recommend this read to a mature audience as it's pretty explicit .

This book kept me on my toes. It was delightful, fun, and had complex characters. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. It was so much fun to read and I loved it.

Loved the first story about the King of the Vampires, Dorian and the beautiful art thief Charlotte. They met outside an art auction and Dorian was heading to. He instantly set out to attain this beauty. When they met inside the auction there was another Vampire from a different family also after Charlotte. Dorian stepped in basically making his claim to her. What Dorian didn't know was that Charlotte worked for a family of thieves. They would run into each other at another art function. Dorian is beyond interested in her. They get each other's phone numbers and begin texting one another. Things begin to happen that are beyond Dorian's control. His three brothers and his dear friend work together to try to find out what's going on within the Supernatural community when Charlotte is attacked. Dorian's world turns upside down. Oh my does this story get good! I am ready for book 2. Enjoy!

This book has it all! Supernaturals pop up everywhere, adding to the intrigue and mystery. Sure keeps you guessing how things are going to turn out. It was an excellent story and I am anxious to read the next in this series. Read this book! You sure won’t be disappointed!

All I can say is “damnn” the way it ended though😯 I mean Ik he was going to find out the truth about her someway or the other but I would have never thought he would find out while she’s not awake to defend herself! It really looks bad on her and she had so many opportunities to tell him the truth. This book is a great readdd📢 and they’re connection is to die for!!!!

Ich mag Vampire Romance Bücher ja sehr, sehr gerne. Und ich freue mich immer wieder darauf, was die Autoren so aus dem Thema holen. Und man meint, man hat schon alles gelesen, aber dem ist nicht so. Und das merke ich auch wieder hier bei der Geschichte. Charley fand ich eine tolle Prota, wenn ich auch hin und wieder den Kindle schütteln musste, um mir irgendwie zu helfen bzw. ihr :) Aber sie ist liebenswert, steht für ihre Schwester ein und tut alles, um sie zu beschützen. Und dann ist da Dorian, holy moly. Ein Vampir der ersten Stunde, der eigentlich nicht so recht weiß, wie er mit dem Erbe umgehen soll, bzw. auch mit seinen Brüdern. Es herrscht eine spezielle Dynamik und man möchte einfach erfahren, was es mit allem so auf sich hat. Vom Spice Level her ist es definitiv auf der höheren Seite, aber was anderes hätte ich mir von Dorian auch nicht erwartet. Ich sage nur - Auktion und Kleiderkasten :) Alles in allem eine tolle Story und ich freue mich auf Buch 2.

We all want so much out of a novel to make it great. Love, betrayal, intrigue, heart break and death isn't something you'd normally get in just one book!! Maybe through a series you might hope for two, or if you're really lucky, three of the aforementioned traits and that would be more than acceptable. But you'd never expect ALL five in just one book. Yes through a series of six books you could cover all said traits and it would be extremely fulfilling. That is of course if the books were any good. After all having all five traits in a series doesn't necessarily equal a good book!! That said, this is book one and for the first time in a very long time, all five traits are in this book!! So has it worked to the authors best wishes or has it failed drastically!! Thankfully the answer is yes!!!! From the very first page your brought into a world of intrigue, on so many levels. First he has demons to sort out and then the arrival of one of his brothers and then there's them!! All drawing you in and without realising it, you're already hooked!! There's also the intrigue about her, intrigue about him and to the why's and whims of what's caught each other to be drawn so deeply, so intrinsically, from the very first sighting in the lobby of the Salvatore. Then we start to really move and before long we're knee deep in lies, schemes, attacks, murder, death (obviously 🙄🙄) and let's not forget....a huge amount of LUST and possibly love and then the heart wrenching betrayal!! All coming to a soul crushing crescendo on the last page!! Thankfully I already having the other five books and the audio too. Performed by the amazing talents of well known narrator's, Mackenzie Cartwright and Shane East, bringing the story to life. In all honesty, if the books have Audible i always get that too!! I love reading my book, with my wireless ear phones plugged in, I'm good to go. If you've never tried it, I would ask you to give it ago!! I never just listen to it, I will always read it, as the more skilled narrator's really do help bring the story alive and give it more power or less, if needed!! Would I recommend?? The answer is yes, without a seconds doubt. But buy both and listen to the characters and the passion of them, due to the skilled talents of the aforementioned narrator's.
