Okay I was not prepared for this book at all. That being said I loved it. Beautifully written and definitely a good choice for the DARK DARK romance readers. Biggest recommendation is to read the trigger warnings because as I said this book is DARK. Also, why was I slightly turned on by the warehouse scene? 😂 A heads up, it is part of a series and ends on a cliffhanger. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Dark King is the first book of a 3 part Dark Romance trilogy by SE Traynor. I absolutely loves this book. This book sucks you in from the very first page. Once I started reading I did not want to put this book down! PLEASE be mindful of your triggers and dislikes because this book is DARK. I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed with it at all!
This is a fast paced romance that will suck you in and not let you go. Once you start reading it, you will not be able to stop. The twists and turns will have you turning pages faster than you think and before you realize it....you have run out.
I can not get enough of this book! This has it all and it is so dark and delicious. This is a book that will have you questioning your own tastes. I absolutely loved that we get more of the male pov in this book and get to see inside Ciarán's mind and this man is tortured! The further along you get you wonder how this man could get so damaged but somehow Summer brings out more of the darkness but somehow gives Ciarán more understanding and sees him. SE Traynor throws us a massive curveball in this book that throws you for a loop but is quite an interesting twist. I am dying to find out how this will continue because this was an amazing read that has me dying for more.
Dark King by SE Traynor is the first in a new series called Three Kings. We meet Summer, a young lady enjoying her birthday at a club. She meets Ciaran and has a good time with him. He decides he's keeping her, that she belongs to him. At first I didn't like him, but as you get to know him and he shows Summer his real self, you can't help but like him. Dark story. TW's to watch out for. No cheating. No bullying between Summer and the guys. Steamy. Great start to a new series. Cliff hanger at the end. Looking forward to the next so I can see what happened!
