THAT SIK LUV
From author Jescie Hall, comes this dark and demanding stalker romance that pushes all the boundaries of exploring sexuality while simultaneously exposing the harsh realities of organized religion. This book explores many dark topics. Please beware of the trigger warnings before reading. Your mental health matters. Fornication is a sin. As it reads, we should flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. They teach us that these thoughts, these actions, are immoral. But that dark side that lives inside all of us, the true nature of man, drives us to seek the need that burns within, demanding to be set free. Deep inside of our bones lies that intrinsic need, one desperate to escape. An innate behavior, seemingly out of our control. One that screams for sins they tell us are condemning. Aero is the throat from which I scream. The dark parts of myself I want hidden from this world are all he sees when he gazes at me beneath yet another mask. He’s the demon drowning me in my own underlying desires. He may never stop. Not until I succumb to my truths, or die beneath the weight of his unrelenting grasp. Because according to him, the life I’ve been living is a hell far worse than death.

Why You'll Love This
ou helped me to find a fragment of peace in a world constructed of pain Aero gave me my voice by allowing me to find it for myself. He empowered what they’d labeled sin. Review Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 - A stroke of genius. Heat Index : 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ A FIREY INFERNO /5 Oh my gooooooooooooooooooooood. My mind is racing with thoughts. So. 👏 Many. 👏 Thoughts. 👏 First thought, I need to immediately cleanse myself with holy water. Secondly, I adore dark romances, though I'm not typically a fan of stalker romances. However, this was executed brilliantly. It just works. Jescie expertly wove in every detail, leaving me unable to put it down, eagerly awaiting the final revelations. Her genius truly knows no bounds. Seriously, she's like the Da Vinci of vigilante sh!t. As someone raised in the Bible Belt, there are many themes in this book that resonated deeply with me. While some may find it taboo, I found it to be a profoundly liberating read. It's so wrong, yet undeniably right. It truly forces you to take a long, hard look at things. "Evil comes in many forms, often masked by those who proclaim holiness." Now, fair warning, this book's not everyone's cup of tea. This book won't be for everyone; it can be downright sacrilegious at times. But in my mind, it's a masterpiece. A beautifully crafted masterpiece. A masterpiece that's been crafted with so much thought and finesse, and even if you're not on board with the themes, you've gotta give props where they're due. This is one wild ride. It's a gripping experience from start to finish. Briony, our initially naive fmc, was raised within the strict confines of her religion, a domain dominated by men and hypocrisy. She begins with blinders on, never questioning the status quo. She was molded to fit their mold, and they nearly succeeded. Then we meet Aero, our exquisitely broken, utterly tormented, and frankly psychotic man. Aero is a product of the traumas he's endured throughout his life. I felt every ounce of his agony, and the way Jescie brought him to life was nothing short of exceptional. He's obsessive and unhinged, knowing no boundaries. He's driven by the fine line between love and hate. He's the teacher, but he allows her to learn and see with her own eyes, forming her own deeply rooted animosity. The way he helps Briony find her voice? Pure poetry. The character growth here is off the charts. The revenge, the whole vigilante bit, sign me up. Every jaw-dropping revelation had me clutching the book, refusing to put it down till I had all the deets. Now, about the sizzle. This thing's got more heat than a five-alarm fire. I'm not kidding when I say it's a five-chili read. Jescie cranks up the thermostat, and you'll need a polar plunge to cool off. Now, here's the kicker. I went full throttle, did the whole reading and audio experience. And let me tell you about the audio—Holy moly, Joe Arden, you're a legend. The way he breathed life into Aero with Jescie's words? Next level. And I'm already a Joe fan, but this was like a whole new ball game. He delved into Aero's mind like a pro, giving us a front-row seat to the circus of his tormented soul. Desiree nailed Briony too. The dual narration? It brought the whole shebang to life in the most epic way. Bravo! Oh my goodness, I absolutely adored this one. It accomplished what many dark romances only dream of. The journey of conquering inner demons was like a symphony for my soul, a melody so few have managed to strike. To transform something so unconventional into a feeling of absolute rightness was pure genius, and I've wholeheartedly joined the Jescie fan club for life. The execution was nothing short of impeccable, and I could gush about it endlessly.
Jescie Hall, are you okay?! Who do you think you are having me this invested in a book?! This was a wild ride that I wasn’t prepared for and didn’t have a seatbelt to assist me. The spice in this book is unhinged and downright sadistic and I was here for all of it! I set my kindle down multiple times to stare at the wall while asking myself if I’m okay or if I need therapy. (I’m quite sure that I do because I loved EVERYTHING about this book.) The MMC, Aero, was just as twisted and demented… yet he’s earned a spot on my book boyfriend list and I’m not ashamed. (Sorry mommy.) The story and plot were jaw dropping on their own… but add in the MFC (Briony) & MMC.. they’re unstoppable and perfect in their own unhealthy and dark ways. But what they’re fighting for will have you rooting for them every step of the way. Additionally, the author did an EXTRAORDINARY job of tying all secrets and prior information together when needed. Her writing, along with her descriptions were perfection and not something you often come across in dark romance. (Thank you for not providing any cringe nicknames!! Lol) You want smut? You want DARK romance? You want a stalker obsessed with his “little doll”? You have all of it wrapped into one. Every single dark romance trope that you can think of is in here… and because I enjoyed all of them I’m going to go say a few prayers and look up a good therapist in my area. Rating: 10/10 Spice Level: Whatever is the highest rating… apply it here because I had to set the book down multiple times and question myself. 🫠
This story takes you in one direction but has so many twists and turns. Men who run a religious cult have so many dirty secrets. Now their secrets /victims have a voice. Briony is miraculously transformed when she meets Aero. Aero is the man who is sent to eliminate her but has his own plan. He is not your villain or your hero, he’s another level. This is so spicy hot be prepared to not put this book down until it’s finished.
Wow oh wow… why has it taken me so long to get round to this book. It’s one of those that you can’t put down but when you finally do your life feels empty. There are many books out there that don’t receive enough recognition and this is one of them. Not being religious myself. sometimes when a storyline revolves round religion I’m a bit skeptical as to whether I will enjoy it. However you soon learn that there is a difference between religion and faith in this book and their definitions mean everything. The way the trusting relationship builds between Aero and Briony is a slow burn throughout the book but they need it or else be burned by the flames surrounding them. The culmination of all the secrets, lies and tests reaches a pinnacle right at the very end leaving your heart racing and you holding your breath.
Aero is definitely sicker than Zade, I loved this book, it's so good written and omg I totally recommend the audio as well, they really got into the role, I had gusbumbs the whole time, so I sick!!
I recommend 2000% ! Very good, passionate book. Keeps you on all along. (Even better with the audio as amazing narrators bring the characters alive so passionately )🔥❤️🔥❤️
