I must say, I read a lot of books and many series as well. But this series, I did in 32 hours. I couldn't put it down. I loved every minute of it. The spicy and the back and forth made me what more. I love it and I hope you read it. Definitely will be buying this one for my personal library.

It's a roller coaster..that's for sure. And the ending..have to read the next one. Never liked cliffhangers, but man this one takes the cake.
I enjoy this author so much. So puts hot and steamy so well together. I enjoyed every minute of until the end and how he was. I don’t know if I could ever forgive or forget him for how he treated her. Onto the next one.

This is one of those stories where you just know that despite every good intention and every heartfelt emotion being considered… this isn’t going to turn out how we’d hoped. Cato as an alpha male isn’t easily likeable. He’s ruthless and powerful and of course, insanely sexy… but he’s a misogynistic pig! He treats women like objects to give him pleasure and nothing more… until he meets his beautiful stalker, Siena. Sienna’s in a desperate and dangerous situation. Her only chance to save her criminal father is to betray the most revered and powerful man in the country… perhaps even more renowned and feared than that. She wasn’t meant to like him. She wasn’t supposed to respect him. She most definitely wasn’t going to fall in love with him. But sometimes life has a way of throwing you a curve ball. Two people with that much explosive chemistry! There’s only one way this was going to go. But when the time comes to betray the man she has come to love… will she be able to go through with it? Of course, she can’t! But Cato is always one step ahead. Will he be able to forgive her? Will his heart protect her or is he only after one thing before he carries out his threat? Interested to see where this story is going to go. Will family be enough to soften his stone-cold heart?

Desde que inicia hay mucha acción y suceden cosas tan inquietantes y horribles pero aun así, quise saber mas, me logre concentrar incluso en el encierro de la pandemia!. físicamente este libro me llego impecable. Lo recomiendo si te gusta el romance oscuro y un poco perturbador o si quieres que te sorprenda, tiene mucha acción y situaciones muy inesperadas, de verdad el final....... no me lo hubiera imaginado, ya quiero leer el siguiente libro!
This was unlike any other of Penelope's I was whole heartedly invested from the very beginning. The angst ridden, heart warming and crushing dynamic between Siena and Cato is on another level This is buttons and lace on steroids...and you may just get an appearance from our favourite Barsetti. This is a standalone completely though! I've reread it twice is certainly won't be the last! I loved it in every possible way, I can't wait to continue the series
Unbelievably good. Can’t wait to read every book by this author. This one consumed me. Hope there’s a book for Bates too.
